Okay, I've read many blogs that LOVE Rite-Aid and I have been jealous that we didn't have one closer to us. Well, I wasn't all that impressed today. I mean, yes - I saved....but I wish I had done better.
Here's what I did!
25 Free Digital Prints (saved $7.25) + 5 extra prints I had to have for $.29/ea. = $1.45

Snickers Fun Size Candy = $1.88 each - $1/2 = $1.38 ea.
GE Cordset 6 ft. for $2 (on sale) - $2 (Rebate) = FREE
4 GE Spiral Energy Saver Bulbs for $5.99 each - 4 $1 off coupons - $3/4 (Rebate) = $4.24 ea.
*I realize these things last for 5 years so hopefully it was a good $16.96 worth of spending.
Power Strip 6 Outlet for$5 (on sale) - $5 (Rebate) = FREE
Sally Hansen Lipnotic Treasure for $5.21 (on sale) - up to $7.50 (Rebate) = FREE
Denta Burst Cleaner (10 pk) for $1.99 (on sale) - $1.99 (Rebate) = FREE
Oral B Artica Soft for $2.49 (on sale) - $2.49 (Rebate) - $1 coupon = $1 overage
2 Kotex Tampon on sale for $3/each - $3/1 (Rebate) - $1/2 coupon = $1 ea.
$5 off $25 Rite-Aid = $5 (free money!)
= After rebates are given (check form) and coupons were used, in total I spent = $17.91
Not horrible, not my best though either.
Wal-mart I did better though! Thanks to Centisble Savings & Happy Housewife for all their great ideas!!
An ALL YOU magazine that is chalked full of great coupons. This magazine is only available on sale at Walmart -OR- and here is my suggestion. Get the two FREE trial magazines HERE and then go to Ebates.com (sign up! You get $5 for joining and if you click my link you give me $5 for referring you...please do that!) and then go find Magazines.com on there because for every order you place on Magazines.com THRU Ebates.com you get 26% back in your account that you can then have sent to your PayPal account and deposited in your bank account! Not bad. So, as soon as next months magazine comes out - or really just before it comes out, I'm doing just that! - cost me $2.24

1 Windex Wipes for $2.84 - $1/1 coupon = $1.84
1 Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser refill pack (no I haven't bought the actual "thing" itself, just the refill. I'll wait for a coupon or something I think :) for $5.44 - $5/1 found HERE = $.44
There were a couple others things I bought that I can't remember what they are from looking at my receipt - sad, yes. I'm still figuring it out! Anyway, in total I spent....$39.10
Coupons totaled: $42.50
pretty dang good!!
Then, of course I stocked up on my canned goods at King Soopers.
30 cans of either black beans, kidney beans, Great Northern beans or diced tomatoes (Kuner's brand) + 1 large block of Colby Jack Cheese, an 18 count set of eggs and 4 Gallons of Milk...I spent a total of $35.99
(*I saved with just my rewards card $25.76...oh and then I got $.10 off gas from their gas station today! Yeah for $2.26/gallon of gas!)
