I am an Amazing Shopper!!

I don't quite know how I did it. Looking back I'm still in shock. I went to Safeway to take advantage of their Living Well promotion ($10 back for every $30 you spend on selected items). I made three transactions with THREE screaming kids in tow. Not easy - but I did it and I even did it the way I intended to.

Here's what I ended up getting:
10 boxes of Kraft Velveeta Macaroni
6 6 packs of Arrowhead Water
8 Skippy Peanut Butter
1 No Yolk Pasta
4 Electrasol Powerball Dishwasher things
4 Classico Pasta Sauces
4 Safeway Pasta (different varieties)
2 All Small & Mighty Laundry Detergent
4 Capri Sun cases
3 stupid candy things that the kids HAD to have

Total for all Three Transactions : $14.85
I saved 82% on 1 transaction and 96% on the other two transactions!

Even after all that I walked away with $26 in catalina's to spend on my next trip! So, if you add it up I guess they paid me $11.15 to come in, screaming children and all and take stuff home from their store with me!

Then I went to King Sooper and in two different transactions I walked away with:

2 Pillsbury Brownie Mixes
4 Gallons of milk
3 packages of diapers (two size 2 and one size 5)
3 package of Angel Soft Toilet Paper
2 Packages of Rozini Pasta
2 Reynolds Wrap Foil - 100% recycled in honor of Earth Day :) (plus I get both refunded entirely)
4 Steamfresh bags of frozen veggies
5 Lawry's Marinades
1 Loaf of French Bread
1 bag of Armour Meatballs

total for both transactions : $30.61
*but I noticed they missed the $3 discount I should have received for buying all those diapers and then I also will be getting back $5 in rebates for the Reynolds Wrap so, it should be more like spending $22.61

I saved 64% on one transaction and 49% on the other (but the 49% transaction was for only the one Reynolds Wrap, so by the time I get the mail in rebate - I'll be over 100% of a return!)

Then I managed to make two different trips to Walgreens. The first trip I made 3 transaction and the second trip I made I made 3 transactions. Today only they were having 15% off of selected items throughout the store when you brought in this coupon and then you were also given a free reusable tote for each coupon you used. Since I had six transactions, I also managed to have 6 of those coupons and walked out with 6 totes. Aside from the totes - here's what I got

2 Degree deoderant
2 Chapsticks
2 Edge Shaving Gels
3 packs of seeds for our garden
1 Gilette Fusion Razor
1 Giant Lollipop (for my photoshoot on Friday)
1 super cute red and white polka dot business card holder
1 set of Cars (from the movie - I got Ramone and Flo)

Total: $17.70

2nd store:

4 Glade Soy Candles
1 bag of M&M Peanut
2 Colgate Toothpaste
1 Chapstick
1 Edge Shaving Gel

Total: $8.47

I had a great day of shopping and total OOP : $71.63
